So many bad books get published. You'd think a publisher would snap a good one like this up in a moment's notice. I would. I know it'll be a bestseller. I'll be first in line at the bookstore when it's out. I know it won't disappoint.

The dialog is so sharp, so enculturated that you can visualize the characters in conversation -- their facial expressions, their body language, their thoughts are all expressed through crackling conversation that is unique to time and place.
